The ending gave me chills! As someone who has struggled with depersonalization and depression this put in words the feelings I had fault during those episodes. Beautifully written ♡

This hit me like directly in my soul. It’s like a deep stomach feeling I get when I feel my soul reach out its hands from within me to pull it out of my limiting body.

This was truly touching. I wonder, do you write about the psychological aspect of the symptoms as well? I’d love to be recommended to those if you do. Thank you for this, I am excited to explore your page now :)

it means SO MUCH to me that you were able to connect so deeply with my piece!! it truly means the world, and is exactly why i love poetry so much.

i haven't written anything about specific psychological symptoms beyond the dread and numbness that comes with feelings of identity fragmentation, disconnection, and feeling like a distant observer to your own body and reality. however, i would love to continue exploring more aspects of the impact that dissociative symptoms can have on myself and others.

thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my work. it's more encouraging than i could ever put into words ໒꒱
